Highlights ​

This release introduces significant UI improvements including a redesigned sidebar layout, enhanced table view integration, and improved responsive design.

New Features ​

The Term and Relation sidebars now have separate controls for closing and collapsing:

  • Close (X): Closes the sidebar and deselects the element completely
  • Collapse (chevron): Hides the sidebar while keeping the element selected

This allows you to temporarily hide the sidebar without losing your selection.

The sidebars have swapped positions for improved workflow:

  • Details sidebar (Term/Relation info): Now on the right side
  • Tools sidebar (Hierarchy View, Filters, etc.): Now on the left side

Table View Integration ​

The Table Editor now integrates with the Details sidebar:

  • Clicking an element in the sidebar navigates to the corresponding row in the table
  • Use View > Terms Table or View > Relations Table to access tables
  • "Show in graph" context menu option now properly switches to Graph view first

Two new types of extra fields ​

  • hierarchy-level: set colors in a taxonomy based on the depth of the children
  • hierarchy-branch: set colors in a taxonomy based on the branch of the children

Improvements ​

  • Explore Relations moved from Tools menu to View menu for better discoverability
  • Tools menu items are disabled when in Explore Relations mode

Responsive Layout ​

  • Fixed Hierarchy View icons and settings falling off at narrow widths
  • Improved sidebar positioning to not overlap with the app bar

Touch Device Support ​

  • Improved sidebar resize functionality on touch devices
  • Better tap support for adding relations
